There are many ways to find books in the library's catalog. Keyword searching is a more powerful way to search the library catalog. It permits the use of adjacency, truncation, proximity, operators and field limits to home in on precisely the items you need. You can also search by title, author, subject, or call number.

ILLINET Online contains over nine million titles held by 45 Illinois academic libraries participating in the Illinois Library Computer Systems Organization.

• Books for children and teens: 21,000+ titles
• Large-print books: 1,000+ fiction and non-fiction titles
• Books on tape: 850+ fiction and non-fiction titles (mostly unabridged)
• Music: over 2,200 CD's and audiocassettes
• Audio items for children and teens: over 650 music books on tape, and cassette-book kits
• Textbooks used in District 161 schools (available for in-library use only)
