READERS WITH DISABILITIES
The Talking Books program provides popular magazines and over 50,000 books on cassette for anyone unable to read regular print due to vision loss or physical disability. All books are mailed to the user's home and returned postage-free. Special cassette players are required and are loaned free of charge. Flossmoor Library staff will provide application forms and will help new users learn to use the equipment. The Talking Book Program is a nation-wide, tax-supported, free library service, sponsored by the Library of Congress and the Illinois State Library. Flossmoor residents receive service from the Voices of Vision Talking Book Center in Geneva, Illinois.
Flossmoor residents may obtain an application form from the Flossmoor Library, or by calling the Voices of Vision Talking Book Center: 1-800-227-0625.

HOMEBOUND DELIVERY SERVICE
We have a thriving homebound delivery program. If you are a homebound Flossmoor resident who would like to receive this service, please let us know.
If you are a Flossmoor library user who would like to volunteer to deliver books to homebound individuals, please talk to a library staff member.
